INTRODUCTION

Rwenzori Region has the biggest percentage of HIV/AIDS spread in Uganda of 11.4% according to press release May 2011.Rwenzori Region of western Uganda is endowed with many Primary and Secondary schools, two Universities and many  churches.
Rwenzori Region has Rural FM radios that are the most effective Information Communication Technology (ICT) tools reaching more people than any other mass media. Some of them do not air out programs that would educate the youth and other people about sex and HIV/AIDS.

Unfortunately some radio stations which tend to air such programs air them at wrong time. Most programs are aired out on weekends, and the concerned stake holders do not get a chance to listen to such programs .Because many youths during the weekends spend most their time in the gardens, some in the bush gathering fire wood and taking care of the animals and others are in boarding schools where they do not allow them to own a radio, and most of the youth do not own radios. Radios are for the elders to listen to the news and announcements and those who get the chance to listen to the radios they only listen to sports and music.

When ever the youth find any program relating to HIV/AIDS on any radio station  they always find it boring  they quickly switch on to another FM radio station which has music and sports so this has been   of the greatest problem to deliver information to the youth  .

To enable rural youth especially students get what they always miss on radios, Televisions and other medias this program of abstinence class in 2010 decided to find them in their schools and churches  by making friendship with them, forming classes with them, like abstinence class and scripture unions in order to share with them on how we can Fight HIV/AIDS in Rwenzori Region through abstinence from sex, alcohol, abusive /addictive drugs and more information  relating to abusive relationships, early marriages and school drop outs is always shared with them.

  1. ITS HEALTHY AND NORMAL TO HAVE SEXUAL FEELINGS

You ,I, we might have a lot of new sexual feelings or thoughts. These feelings and thoughts are totally normal — it means that all of your hormones are working properly. But sometimes your curiosity or sexual feelings can make you feel like it's the right time to have sex, even though it may not be.

Though your body may have the ability to have sex and you may really want to satisfy your curiosity, it doesn't mean your mind is ready. Although some teens understand how sex can affect them emotionally, many don't — and this can lead to confusion and deeply hurt feelings later.

But at the same time, don't beat yourself up or be too hard on yourself if you do have sex and then wish you hadn't. Having sexual feelings is normal and handling them can sometimes seem difficult, even if you planned otherwise.
