OBJECTIVES OF RASYN

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

• To bring awareness about AIDS/HIV among the youth in Rwenzori Region

• To guide youth about abusive Relationships, Early marriages, School dropouts and to guide them on how to fight poverty while in and out school and not to despise any granted opportunity for any job.

• To Bring awareness about Abstinence of addictive alcohol and drugs while in school and out of school

• To share the full Gospel of our Lord Jesus through Scripture union classes and to show love, care, courage, hope and provide to helpless   youth especially the orphans.

• To create a forum where youths  can share with Elders, Parents , Religious leaders Community leaders ,Political leaders , Professionals  and any other person for continuous lobbying for better rights

Rwenzori Region Abstinence & Scripture Union Youth Network (RASYN)

 
MISSION:

Bringing awareness about, ways to fight Poverty while in school and out of school, early marriages, Abusive relationships, Effects of School dropout and HIV/AIDS through Abstinence classes and scripture union among the rural Primary, Secondary and University Students in Rwenzori Region.

TARGETED DISTRICTS

CENTRAL UGANDA: Kampala and Wakiso

WESTERN UGANDA: Kabarole, Kyenjojo, Kyegegwa, Kasese, Bundibudyo ,Ntoroko, Kabale , Mbarara , Ntungamo, Masindi, Mubende ,Masaka ,Mityana and Hoima

So far now we are working with some schools in Kampala, Kabarole, Wakiso and Kyenjojo but this work has to continue to all the above mentioned districts in Uganda.
